I felt so empty as i cried,
like part of me had died.
As your image wandered through my head,
i wept just like a baby as i lay awake in bed.
And i know what it's like to lose
someone you love and this felt just the same.
My demons had come to drown me,
became so aware that i'm a victim of my circumstance.
A sadness grows within, it all seems so unfair.
What a pleasant nightmare, as i close my eyes.
There, another vivid surprise.
Another whole life waiting,
chapters unfinished, fading.
Feeling like i'm going out of my head,
tears my soul into two.
I'm not the one i always knew.
Just can't help myself to this uncanny strange DejaVu.
