Received a phonecall, from the horse's mouth, he's attached. I know i made the decision to part but I just didn't think pple can get over a 2 yr r/s so fast but i guess here it is. Reality is as such, guys don't wait ard idling or mulling. Met the parents and attached. Action chop chop, vaguely like 2 yrs ago. Hope i give best wishes, i do i guess. What else is there? Get bitter or bitchy or miserable? Nah, not worth it.
First week of work. Supposedly honeymoon period, colleagues told me, "hey it's 6 alr! You better leave, because you won't see the daylight when you drop off work aft this wk." *Shudders* Usual knock-off hrs are 9-10pm but none of my colleagues left before 12midnight last wk, and one of them even worked till 5am, went hm shower den back in office at 9am. I'm a lil' freaked out.. In fact, not a lil', pretty damn freaked out. All thru uni life, i've had 3-day weeks.. all of a sudden, min 12hr days just seem daunting.
Glad this wk has a public holiday.. *sigh* i guess this kinda lifestyle is gd for singletons i guess, where got time to have a bf? but maybe end of the day when you're so exhausted from work, it's nice to have someone who cares.. Colleagues are very nice, mostly under 30.. i get along with the girls pretty well, they're really patient teaching me. Now looking for pple in Tanjong Pagar area eat lunch with me!
