was supposed to go zouk last nite with the girls, i went hm at 9, wanted slp till 11 den head down. but i couldn't pluck myself outta bed, so i slept until this morning 9am.. wasted my friday nite, damn lousy.
Went down to NUS to collect my gown this morning, bumped into alicia and friend, haven't seen her since i left sch, and the first time i gone back since i left too. She said she wanted additional invites for her sis and bf.. and i was like,"oh..".. den she asked, u leh? bf not coming ar? den i felt a pang. told her we broke up. 'but u waited 2yrs!' tt's when i felt a lil' i donno how to describe. 'oh well, he's happy now, tt's all tt matters' was my answer. I dont really understand why this whole convocation is such a big thing.. as compared to my frenz who've tot of coordinating their shoes w/ their gown or went as far as to make a plaque, i find it ceremonial. Is it really the day parents feel so proud of their child? *shrugs* but everyone has degree now, what's so special abt mine? We studied all our lives for the past 15yrs for this day to don the gown, but is it really that special? i don't feel the excitement, sort of want to get it over and done with.
